Darin Hovis

Darin Hovis is the founder of Par 4 Fitness. He was voted by peers as a Golf Digest Top 50 Golf Fitness Trainers in America from 2019-2023. His passion is helping golfers of all abilities to achieve maximum performance on and off the golf course. Darin has overseen PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour, Champions Tour, KornFerry Tour, PGA Tour Latinoamerica, PGA Tour Canada, and World Long Drive champions’ wellness and performance programs over the past 12 years. Darin also supplies the Southwest Florida golfing community with return to play protocols following surgery, power and speed training, and 3D biofeedback drills. A custom wellness and performance program is developed though the powerful combination of K-Vest 3D technology, functional movement assessments, and an in-depth knowledge of the golf swing.

Darin is a licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Florida. Additional certifications include Full Body Active Release Techniques, K-Vest 3D, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Functional Movement Screen, Precision Nutrition and the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). Darin is very active with TPI including Medical, Fitness, Golf, Junior, and Power certifications. Darin’s mission is to impact the lives and games of every person he works with, and he truly believes that the Par 4 Fitness system allows golfers to shoot their best.

AILSA CLARK

Ailsa Clark is a certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. Additional certifications include Level 1 Precision Nutrition and Level 1 Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). Ailsa graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2021 with both a Bachelors’ of Science in Exercise Science and a Bachelors’ of Arts in Psychology. During her time at FGCU, Ailsa competed on the Women’s Golf Team from 2016-2021, earning one college win in 2019.

Ailsa has been with the Par 4 Fitness Company for 3 years. During her time, she has worked with students between the ages of 11-84. While Ailsa enjoys working with all age groups, she loves working with Juniors in assisting their growth and development as players and individuals. Her passion is to develop the “next generation” into becoming the best versions of themselves they can possibly be both on and off the golf course. Within the last year, Ailsa has also specialized in working with local teaching professionals and playing professionals to include members of the Korn Ferry Tour, PGA Tour LatinoAmerica, and PGA Tour Canada. Overall, Ailsa’s goal is to allow players to move better, think better, and develop the player’s understanding in efficiently moving his/her body.

Ailsa continues to compete as an amateur in both national and statewide events.

Jonathan Grathwohl

Jonathan is a dedicated Doctor of Physical Therapy with a strong focus on helping aging golfers enhance their performance. As a Florida native, he has always been drawn to sports and an active outdoor lifestyle. 

With a comprehensive skill set, Jonathan has acquired several certifications, including the esteemed National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He has also obtained the Titleist Performance Institute’s Level 1 certification and is currently pursuing certifications in dry needling and manual therapy.

Jonathan’s professional background encompasses valuable experiences working with renowned organizations such as the Minnesota Twins Baseball Organization and under the mentorship of John D’Amico, a distinguished Golf Digest Top 50 Golf Fitness Trainer in America. These experiences have enriched his knowledge and sharpened his expertise in providing top-tier care to athletes and golf enthusiasts.

When it comes to treatment, Jonathan believes in optimizing movement by adopting a holistic approach that considers the complete well-being of his clients. His philosophy revolves around fostering collaboration and demonstrating a commitment to personal growth. By incorporating these principles into his practice, Jonathan aims to help individuals improve their performance on the golf course and enjoy an extended period of active and fulfilling golfing experiences.
